About Live Bible Reading
Live Bible radio for the whole world: the whole Bible, read aloud nonstop, with everyone hearing the same verse at the same moment.
Why it exists
Many people want to read the Bible and never get through it alone. Here you don't have to: you just join in, wherever the reading is, with people all over the world. The whole Bible goes by in 84 hours, twice a week, forever.
Who's behind it
An independent project from Canada. It doesn't belong to any church or denomination, and it's open to everyone: believers, the curious, and anyone who needs something calm to listen to.
What it reads
Only public-domain Bibles, word for word: the King James Version (1611), the World English Bible, the Bible in Basic English, and the Reina-Valera 1909 in Spanish. The optional study notes are from Matthew Henry (1706), clearly labelled as one teacher's view.
Who reads it aloud
An AI narrator: a computer voice (the open-source Kokoro voice) reads the recorded chapters, so the reading can go on day and night without ever stopping. Where a chapter isn't recorded yet, your own phone or computer's built-in voice reads it. Nothing is added, cut or changed: the words are always the Bible's own, exactly as printed.
For churches, care homes and hospitals
The reading can run on a lobby or common-room TV. Here's how. You can also dedicate an hour of the reading to someone you love.
How it's paid for
It's free, with no ads and no accounts, and it always will be. It runs on very little money: listeners who buy the reading a coffee, sponsor an hour, or buy a sticker keep it on the air. It isn't a registered charity, so gifts aren't tax-deductible.
Get in touch
