Privacy, in plain words
Live Bible Reading is built to know as little about you as possible. There's nothing to sign up for, and nothing to sell.
What we don't do
No accounts, no ads, no cookies, no tracking pixels, and no selling or sharing of data. The site loads nothing from other companies.
What stays on your own device
Your choices (Bible version, voice, the book you last picked, whether you've seen the welcome note) are saved in your own browser so the site remembers them. They never leave your device, and clearing your browser data removes them.
The live count and Amens
To show how many people are listening, your browser keeps a small live connection open. While the page is open, we know only your country (from Cloudflare) so we can say "from 7 countries". No names, no IP addresses, nothing saved after you leave. An Amen sends only the word and your country.
"Heard here" and "Your listening"
The site keeps one anonymous running total: how many hours everyone together has listened with sound on. It's a single number, with nothing about who listened. "Your listening" (the chapters you've heard) is saved only in your own browser and never sent to us. There are no cookies.
Visitor counts
We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without following you around the web.
Gifts and the shop
If you sponsor an hour, support monthly or buy a sticker, the payment happens on Buy Me a Coffee or our print partner, under their own privacy policies. We see what they show us (usually your name, email and message) and use it only to thank you, show a dedication you asked for, and send your order.
Children
The reading is for everyone. We don't knowingly collect anything from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this ever changes, this page will say so first.
